1. How we edited our piece to make it look like a thriller?
We edited our piece by looking at other thrillers to get an idea of how it would flow. We decide to make it slow moving as this creates tension. Most thrillers build lots of tension up to leave the view in suspense. We used final cut pro to do this. We used extreme close ups to make it more of a thriller as it leaves you thinking and gives you a rush.
2. How we used sound in editing process top attract an audience?
We used dark sounds and drowns mixed with high pitched sounds to create a scary ambience. The sound track appeals to our target audience as this is something that gothic people will like.
3. How we created a mood/ style for our process?
We created an intense mood by doing extreme close up. This attracted our target audience. The style we went for was a slow movie and this crated a concentrated mood.
4. How we used titles and graphics?
I used titles to break up the footage we took this leaves the target audience on suspense as it goes to the next section of footage.
5. How our thriller would attract an audience?
Our thriller would attract an audience because it is so intense and there is a lot of tension which is built up over the opening trailer as it doesn’t show the face of our actor which leaves the audience in suspense as they are interested in seeing what the actor looks like
